These days, many teenagers do not appreciate the old classic music and are into the new hip-hop/rap era. Older classic music isn't all bad in my own opinion, some of it you just have to give a chance. I admit to listening to the music of today, but on occasions I listen to the older things too. Quite frankly I enjoy some of it. The 80's were some of the best of the best. Would you agree? Have you given it a chance?
60's created prog, 70's progressed prog, 80's brought thrash, 90's brought death metal, 00's have brought good music hidden in a garbage pit of awful music.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget that "I" is a proper noun and should be capitalized.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the 70's over the 80's. Not a fan of the 90's. Unfortunately,my husband likes to listen to the 90's on XM in the car.
I enjoy some of the 80's music too!
ReplyDeletebut i would have to say i like rap way more than anything else!
Most teens do now a days.
ReplyDeleteThe 80's brought us alot of good music. I for one don't care for alot of today's music i'm more 70s-late 90's kinda guy but i do listen to some of todays new rock and some of today's new country. I can't stand most of the rap today it's disgusting, vile, garbage. That goes along with some of today's country it has strayed SO far away from the roots of country that I really don't know if it would be considered country anymore. (If you want to listen to REAL country go to a bluegrass concert!) THAT my friends is real country!
ReplyDeleteMusic changes, people change, what people like changes. As time goes on there will always be newer music that has upgraded from the previous years and something new is bound to become popular because if there wasn't anything new then we would be sick of hearing the same things over again.
